Bio from piper-perabo.net

Piper Perabo was born in 1977 in Toms River, New Jersey, the daughter of an English Professor, and attended Toms River High School North. Someone who knew her in high school describes her as "a sweetheart who was very kind and caring". After high school she studied acting at Ohio University where she graduated summa cum laude in 1998 with a BFA in acting.

After graduating she studied theater at the LaMama Theater in New York and then had roles in 2 short, low budget films in 1998 & 1999. The first was in a short film called Single Spaced (1998). This was followed by a role in Knuckleface Jones (1999) in which she played the part of a giant squid!

Piper's first big role was the lead female part in the film Whiteboyz (1999) in which she played the girlfriend of wannabe gangster rapper. That role will pale in comparison to the big break she had when she was cast in the role of Violet in the big budget Hollywood film, Coyote Ugly, a film whose plot sounds a lot like Piper's own life - moved from New Jersey to New York and worked in a bar while waiting for a big break.

Piper appears in the recent release "Rocky & Bullwinkle" and is already busy with her next role in the film Lost & Delirious which is currently being filmed in Canada.

Piper has 2 younger brothers, Adam and Noah. Adam will be a senior in High School this year and is apparently also very talented, being able to sing as well as act.
